Today’s story practice is a quiet embrace of warmth, stillness, and spiritual resilience. Using the five prompt words Blanket, Window, Thread, Whisper, River, this gentle reflection honors the kind of day where nothing comes to mind—and that’s okay. Some days, simply showing up for your story practice is the bravest act of all.
Here’s the story, shared exactly as it was written:
The warm rays of sun are kissing my face, a sighs slips out of my mouth. It has been 4 dark wintery month.
Now, finally the sun has broken free through clouds and shining happily. I have been laying on this blanket while closing my eyes, and doing nothing. I can still hear the faint static sound of tv channels changing from my neighbours window.
For the first time in while I could wear a thread top and short pants. My skin feels blessed and happy. River is whispering and dancing with joy from the south of were I have been lying.
My today’s to do list is lying somewhere inside and I am planning to stay here till sun goes down.
