Taking the First Step

There was a time when I had a dream but no idea how to begin. I wanted to create a space for women who love books, a true Reading Circle where stories and thoughts could be shared. My past self would be proud today because I finally took that first step toward my goal.

From Dream to Reading Circle

When I first announced Bookish Girls’ Café, it felt like a fantasy. Soon, reality showed me the challenges of planning, promoting, and keeping hope alive. At one point, I almost gave up. But then I reminded myself why I started.

Slowly, I turned my idea into something real: an all-girls book club, a Reading Circle where women can gather, share their love for books, and feel at home.

Why the Reading Circle Matters

Reading is often seen as a quiet activity we enjoy alone, while socialising means going out and having fun. But what if we could bring the two together?

I believe books give us peace, joy, and a way to escape the problems of daily life. They also give us something to talk about, different opinions to share, and new friendships to build.

My Reading Circle is not about strict rules or finishing every book on time. It is about genuine connections. Women who love books deserve a space where they can share their thoughts, laugh together, discuss fictional worlds, and feel at home among people who understand their love for reading.

Looking Ahead

Now, I am promoting the club and waiting to see who will join. It may start small, but every reader who becomes part of it will make it meaningful.

I may not know what the future holds for my Reading Circle, but I know one thing: I took the first step instead of letting fear stop me. And I believe my past self would smile, knowing I tried to turn a dream into reality.

✨ If you love books and cozy conversations, you are warmly invited to join me at Bookish Girls’ Café. Let’s build a little world of stories, friendships, and shared moments together. ☕📚🤎
