Trust the Process while navigating unexpected changes and starting an all-girls book club.

Hello readers,

Today, I want to share a quick update about how my past week has been and how this week is progressing. More than anything, this week has taught me about Trust the Process and how difficult it can be to trust life when things don’t go according to our plans.

My Week and Trust the Process

As many of you know, I have been thinking about starting my all-girls book club. I decided to start it on the 14th, so I began taking all the necessary steps to make it happen.

First, I created a bank account. Then, I created a PayPal business account and started setting up the plugins needed to manage members and payments.

Everything was going smoothly, and I was feeling excited. But suddenly, I faced problems with PayPal payments. That was when things started going south.

I became stressed and worried. After a few hours, I tried to accept the situation and calm myself down. I looked for another way, but unfortunately, it was not possible to get everything ready by Monday.

Finally, on Tuesday, I posted a blog to update everyone about the situation. At the same time, I started trying another option with Stripe. So, let’s see what happens.

Learning to Trust the Process

This whole experience took me through many emotions.

First, there was excitement because I really wanted to start the book club. Then came stress, anxiety, fear, sadness, and even a feeling of failure when things did not happen according to my plan.

But slowly, I reached a different place.

I am finally at a point in my life where I can say, God knows what is best for me, and whatever is happening in my life is happening for me. He knows better than I do, so I choose to trust the process.

Maybe this delay is teaching me something. Maybe there is something I need to learn before starting the club. Or maybe things simply need more time.

Whatever the reason, I don’t want to keep fighting with reality. I am learning to Trust the Process — doing what I can, accepting what I cannot control, and believing that things will happen in their own time.

Trust the Process and Move Forward

From trying my best, feeling anxious and afraid, becoming desperate and sad, feeling like I had failed, and finally accepting that some things are beyond my control — this has been my process over the past week.

And perhaps that is a lesson in itself.

We can make plans, work hard, and do everything we can. But sometimes, things still don’t happen when we want them to. At those moments, all we can do is take a breath, stay calm, and continue moving forward.

I still hope everything goes nicely and that I can finally start my all-girls book club soon.

Until then, I am reminding myself to be patient, keep trying, and Trust the Process. Maybe this is what it means to me — not giving up, but also not forcing something that is not ready yet.
