Hello friends! So nice to see you again.
Before we begin, I warmly invite you to visit The Cozy Café — a small corner I created for comfort, stories, and connection.

Last week was a little hectic for me and my family. The start of the week brought some tension and worry because my cousin — my mom’s brother’s son — met with an accident. This incident reminded all of us how important Bike Safety truly is. Both his hands were fractured, and everything happened so suddenly that we didn’t even get time to think.

A Sudden Call That Changed Our Week

When my grandma called us on the first night, she was crying. Her only grandson had been in an accident, and she was alone at home. Situations like this show how ignoring Bike Safety can affect the entire family. So, me and my mother immediately packed and went to stay with her. She needed comfort and someone by her side.

The Treatment, Recovery, and God’s Grace

My cousin had surgery on both hands. Rods were put inside to support the fractures, and one arm is in a brace. It sounds scary, but by God’s grace, he is strong and healing well.

Thank God he was wearing a helmet. The doctors told us that following this simple rule of Bike Safety saved him from a much worse injury. Every day we pray and thank God for protecting him that day.

The good thing is — he can eat on his own! When we learned that, we felt so relieved. And of course, we also started teasing him. Me and my uncle kept joking about how he would eat, wash, and do anything at all with both hands injured. Sometimes humour helps lighten heavy moments.

A Small Message to Everyone About Bike Safety

Accidents don’t give warnings. They happen in just a second and can change everything.

So I request all of you — please don’t speed your bike. Bike Safety is not optional.
You may feel you are in a hurry, but later your family will be the ones worrying, crying, and running around hospitals.

Think of your parents.
Think of your grandparents.
Think of the people waiting for you at home.

And please, always wear a helmet. This simple act of Bike Safety can save your life — just like it saved my cousin’s.

He Will Get Better Soon

My cousin is tough. He has always been a strong person, and we know he will recover quickly. With family support, love, prayers, and a little teasing, he is already smiling again.

This week reminded me how quickly life can change — and how deeply we need each other.
Moments like these bring families closer and make us appreciate the love and support around us.

Thank you for reading, and please take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
And remember — Bike Safety can protect not just you, but your entire family from pain.

See you soon with another post! 🌼
