“Sundays are proof that we survived the week.”

Last Sunday was filled with warmth and nostalgia as I spent the day at my grandma’s place, enjoying her stories and delicious home-cooked meals. This Sunday, however, is different—it’s all about taking it slow and embracing rest. In this Relaxing Sunday blog, I want to share how I’m giving my body the care it needs, staying hydrated, and taking things easy.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been feeling discomfort below my ears. Maybe it’s the changing weather, maybe it’s just exhaustion catching up—but it has made my head hurt, my eyes strain, and even reading or watching TV difficult. To top it off, I feel constantly thirsty, making me wonder if dehydration is also at play.

So, today is about listening to my body and giving it what it craves: rest, hydration, and a gentle rhythm.

Slowing Down & Savoring the Day

No rush. No pressure. Just me, my cozy space, and the little things that bring comfort. My plan?

✔️ Read for a few minutes (even if it’s just a page or two)
✔️ Watch TV in short bursts, enjoying something lighthearted
✔️ Take a long, peaceful afternoon nap

Honestly, I tried watching something earlier, but my eyes said ‘nope’ faster than I could hit play. 😅 So, today is about stillness, letting my body dictate the pace. And that, my friends, feels like a gift.

This Relaxing Sunday blog is a reminder that sometimes, the best way to recharge is to simply slow down.

Hydration: The Hero of the Day

If water had a fan club, I’d be its biggest member today. Drinking water is my main focus because dehydration can make everything worse—headaches, fatigue, even mood swings.

“Let water be thy medicine, and thy medicine be water.”

By the end of the day, I hope to feel lighter and more refreshed. Hydration isn’t just about quenching thirst—it’s about nourishing from within.

Rest: The Ultimate Healer

A well-rested body heals faster. So, today, I’m taking a well-deserved nap. Not just a quick 10-minute one, but a full-fledged, don’t-disturb-me-unless-there’s-pizza kind of nap.

Maybe I’ll wake up feeling brand new, or maybe I’ll still need more time—but one thing’s for sure: rest is never wasted.

Embracing the Calm

Some Sundays are for adventure. Some are for productivity. But this one? It’s for healing.

As the day winds down, I’m reminded that self-care isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. Whether it’s hydrating, resting, or simply allowing myself to slow down, today is about embracing the calm.
