Hello, fellow food lovers! Have you ever dreamed of a year where you eat all the dishes you’ve ever craved? That’s my plan for food in 2025. Let me take you on a delicious journey of cheesy, spicy, and sweet dishes I can’t wait to try—and don’t worry, I’m steering clear of anything raw. (Yes, sushi lovers, you’re welcome to enjoy my share!)

A Taste of Bhutan: Ema Datshi

First on my list is Bhutan’s national dish, Ema Datshi. I’ve seen this dish a million times on Instagram, and every time it’s left me drooling! Picture a spicy stew made with chili peppers, creamy cheese, and sometimes potatoes or mushrooms. It’s the perfect balance of heat and comfort. I can already imagine myself warming up with a bowl of this delightful dish in a cozy Bhutanese restaurant. Food in 2025 wouldn’t be complete without trying this.

Spicy Korean Ramen

Next, let’s head to South Korea. Watching Korean dramas has made me crave spicy ramen for the longest time. I want to dive into a big, slurpy bowl of this dish, with bright red broth, noodles cooked to perfection, topped with a gooey egg, scallions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Maybe even some cheese for that extra kick. Spicy food lovers, this one’s for us!

Cheesy Italian Lasagna

Ah, lasagna! F.R.I.E.N.D.S made me fall in love with the idea of this dish, and now I want to taste it for myself. Layers of pasta, gooey mozzarella, tangy tomato sauce, and that perfect golden crust. This dish is a cheesy masterpiece, and I’m planning to bake one so good it could make an Italian grandma proud. Imagine pulling apart that first slice and watching the cheese stretch. Heaven!

Sweet Bliss: Turkish Baklava

Time for dessert, and what better way to indulge than with baklava? I first read about it in a story, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Thin layers of crispy phyllo pastry soaked in honey and stuffed with pistachios. Sweet, nutty, and buttery—it’s a bite-sized piece of paradise. I can already feel the syrup melting on my tongue.

Spicy Italian Penne All’Arrabbiata

Craving pasta with a kick? Penne all’Arrabbiata is my go-to. Picture al dente penne tossed in a fiery tomato sauce infused with garlic, chili, and olive oil. To make it perfect, I’d pair it with a glass of wine—a combination that’s simple, bold, and bursting with flavor. This dish is a reminder that sometimes, less is more. It’s a definite highlight for Food in 2025

French Crêpe Adventure

For a lighter sweet treat, I’m looking forward to French crêpes. Thin, soft, and slightly crispy on the edges, I’d love mine with Nutella and strawberries or a classic lemon and sugar combo. It’s simple but oh-so-elegant.
